CLIENT & CAMPAIGN

Le Grand Départ Italy

For the first time in history, the Tour de France starts from Italy with the Grand Départ.

The challenge is to be the agency capable of telling the story of the event even before it happens: connecting the territory, passion for cycling, and the great champions who have made the history of this sport. How?  By building a true Event Communication Platform.

CREATIVE APPROACH

Italy, the place where great things start.

Italy is the place where great things are born and grow to become great: and this event, a symbol of the greatness of cycling, arrives in a country where this sport has deep roots, a history of success, and an industrial excellence among the most famous in the world.  Our platform could only celebrate this greatness.

Italy, the place where great things start.
Italy, the place where great things start.
Italy, the place where great things start.

FRANCESCO PELOSI, SUNTIMES FOUNDER

"3.5 million people and 190 countries. With great satisfaction, we told the world about the beauty of the Tour in Italy."

CONTENT APPROACH

Development

From the video campaign launched in Paris to present the event, to the development of all the digital placements: website, landing page, social media (FB, IG, IN, X), and media kits that highlighted the dress code of each city involved, everything speaks of this incredible grandeur. Not to mention the official Tour de France poster, created together with the artist Nicolo Canova. The strategic-creative skills combined with sports expertise were also put into action for the full live coverage, making the Grand Départ the best performer in terms of followers, engagement rate, and communication reach among the international Grand Départs of the Tour.
